Travel enthusiasts and locals alike have something new to look forward to as the Davao Tourism Association (DATA) officially launched the Davao Tourist Passport — a fresh, exciting way to rediscover Davao’s beauty, culture, and flavors.

The launch took place during the 2nd DATA Hospitality and Tourism Experience (DATA HTX) held at the Grand Regal Hotel on Tuesday.
The passport created quite a buzz online, as it caught the attention of netizens — with some even mistaking it for a “Mindanao passport.”

But DATA quickly clarified that the passport is designed specifically to promote Davao City and the Davao Region, showcasing its top destinations through curated tour packages, exclusive discounts, and special perks at participating establishments.
Developed in collaboration with the Department of Tourism 11 (DOT 11), the Davao Tourist Passport serves both as a souvenir and travel companion, an incentive that invites everyone to explore Davao’s breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and diverse culinary offerings.

Passport holders are in for a treat — participating establishments will be offering exclusive discounts and special deals.
For only P450 to P500, passport holders can enjoy unique privileges at partner hotels, restaurants, and attractions.

The passport will be available starting January next year at select partner establishments and online via the DATA Facebook page.
“We’re working with the Department of Tourism (DOT) to promote the passport, and we’re also exploring the possibility of selling it at the Davao International Airport,” said DATA President Nicole Bian-Ledesma.
So, whether you’re a proud Dabawenyo or a curious traveler, the Davao Tourist Passport is your ticket to experience the best of Davao one stamp, one adventure at a time.
