Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) recorded another significant accomplishment in its anti-illegal drug campaign with the arrest of two high-value individuals (HVIs) in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Francisco, Panabo City, Davao del Norte, on Friday, December 5, 2025.
The suspects, known by the aliases “Gang” and “Cesar,” were nabbed in a coordinated operation involving the Panabo City Police Station, Davao Norte Provincial Intelligence Unit, 2nd Davao Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 11, and agents from PDEA Davao del Norte.
Police seized from the pair several sachets and knot-tied plastic packs containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with a total weight of 4,060 grams and an estimated street value of P27,608,000. Also recovered were a genuine P1,000 bill used as marked money, P100,000 in boodle cash, a black Manjaru backpack, and a dark-blue Jansport bag.
The suspects and confiscated items are now held at the Panabo City Police Station for proper documentation and the filing of charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PRO 11 reiterated its commitment to supporting the Philippine National Police’s intensified anti-illegal drug operations and pledged to sustain efforts against drug personalities and networks across the region.
The regional office also urged the public to stay vigilant and continue reporting drug-related activities to help maintain peace and order in the Davao Region.
