CebPac issues travel advisory ahead of Undas rush

Cebu Pacific has issued a travel advisory ahead of the Undas long weekend, urging passengers to plan their trips early and follow key guidelines as millions of Filipinos are expected to travel across the country.

In an advisory dated October 23, the budget carrier reminded passengers to double-check their flight details, terminal assignments, and destination airports following recent operational adjustments affecting select Cebgo (DG) flights.

Starting October 26, all Manila–Naga and Manila–San Jose (Occidental Mindoro) routes will operate from Clark International Airport, while other Cebgo flights will remain at NAIA Terminal 2.

Cebu Pacific advised travelers to arrive at least three hours before domestic flights and four hours before international flights, anticipating heavier traffic and longer lines at airports during the holiday period.

To reduce congestion, passengers are encouraged to check in online via the airline’s website or mobile app — available from 48 hours up to one hour before domestic flights, and up to two hours before international flights. Those without checked baggage may proceed straight to security and boarding gates.

For international passengers, Cebu Pacific reminded travelers to complete their eTravel forms within 72 hours before departure and upon return to the Philippines. The form, accessible at www.etravel.gov.ph, generates a QR code required by immigration and customs.

The airline also reiterated its 7-kilogram hand-carry limit and advised passengers to purchase additional baggage online, where rates are up to four times cheaper than at the airport. Self-tagging kiosks are available at major terminals, including Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao.

“As millions of Filipinos head home to observe All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days, Cebu Pacific remains committed to ensuring safe, convenient, and affordable travel,” the airline said.

Cebu Pacific operates the widest domestic network in the Philippines, flying to 35 local and 25 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
