The Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) convened its 1st Quarter Calendar Year 2026 Command-level Campaign Progress Review and Assessment (CPRA) on Tuesday, April 21, led by Commander Lt. Gen. Adonis Ariel G. Orio PA, as part of its continuing efforts to evaluate operational performance and enhance strategic direction across its jurisdiction.
The review brought together key staff officers who presented updates on ongoing operations, examined the impact of current strategies, and identified priority areas for refinement. It also provided an avenue to synchronize operational efforts, improve coordination among units, and ensure responsiveness to the changing security dynamics in Eastern Mindanao.
Among the gains reported were the continued reduction in insurgency-related activities, effective actions against threat groups, and strengthened partnerships with communities. The command also highlighted the need to sustain these gains by reinforcing stakeholder engagement and transitioning toward initiatives that support long-term development and external defense preparedness.
Lt. Gen. Orio underscored the importance of sustaining momentum while remaining flexible in addressing emerging challenges. He emphasized that unity of effort, disciplined execution, and strong collaboration with partner agencies and local stakeholders are vital to continued success.
“The next step is ensuring that our plans translate into real-world readiness, credible capabilities, and decisive action. Beyond technology, our strength lies in discipline, preparation, and the ability of our leaders to effectively carry out mission command. Equally important is our commitment to our personnel, whose morale and welfare must always come first,” Lt. Gen. Orio said.
The conduct of the CPRA highlights EastMinCom’s ongoing commitment to refining its operational approach and advancing its mandate of fostering peace, stability, and development in Eastern Mindanao.
